The beauty of this piece is also in the background with the clouds rolling in from the sky. The couture dress that she is wearing also gives you the chic ambiance that is Paris herself, and the Louis Vuitton red bottoms that she is wearing adds another lovely touch as well. I love the hatbox that is next to her on the stairs here at Trocadero, because that adds a whole new feeling that this painting could have been painted in the 1950's or earlier, and all of a sudden your transported to 80's years in the past, standing here in Paris.
