Paris! In this piece you can see the stormy skies behind the Eiffel Tower. The cobblestone street is made up of many colors and allows the red umbrella to really pop into the foreground. The water puddles on the small sidewalks and the colors that make up the walls on either side of our view add depth and beauty to this piece, allowing the viewer to further understand that it has just stopped raining.

When I painted this piece I was ready to get back to what I love. Paris! In this piece you can see the stormy skies behind the Eiffel Tower. The small wall in front of the Eiffel Tower allows the viewer to understand that running horizontally to the main street in our view. This cobblestone street is made up of many colors and allows the red umbrella to really pop into the foreground. The water puddles on the small sidewalks and the colors that make up the walls on either side of our view add depth and beauty to this piece, allowing the viewer to further understand that it has just stopped raining. The shutters on the window to the left hand side add further appeal to the architecture that surrounds us in a Paris setting, along with the green vines crawling down the stucco at the corner of the street.
Created in a modern impressionism style. This piece is simply beautiful!
