The Arch de Triumphe is at the center of Charles de Gualle Street in Paris. It is the symbol of courage and freedom for the French people. It really really adds to the ambiance that is Paris with the weather so dramatic in the background and the reflection of the rain water on the sidewalk below. There is so much detail in this painting, what started out as another impressionistic piece has almost turned into a realism piece. I’m very happy with the end result. This piece was created in black and white monochromatic colors.
I know that any home that has a sleek, modern, contemporary feel would be perfect for this piece.
