The original painting was painted in Paris, France using the rose window that overlooks the left bank of the Seine river as a reference. Although this was a commissioned piece, I had several on lookers who offered to purchase it, someone even asked to purchase a piece like it that was already finished, which I did not have. I had no desire to paint the rose window multiple times as with architecture every piece must be exact. I believe you can still see the sketch underneath showing measurement lines. The under sketch took me 2.5 days to complete before I could mix a palette and begin painting.

I truly enjoy seeing this piece framed and hung now, the colors that depict the lead stain glass, and the variations of color that make up the limestone is just beautiful. For all of you lovers of architecture, those of you with an obsession with Notre Dame herself, and those of you who love Gothic things this one is for you. Enjoy!

Bekaz Gallery will get back to you with a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA#), and a prepaid return shipping label. The cost of the shipping label will be deducted for your refund amount. STEP TWO Please print out the below Return Authorization form, fill it out, including your RMA# and enclose in the return shipment of the artwork. Pack the artwork back in the original tube or box with the Return Authorization form as well as all of the packaging materials and certificate of authenticity that was included in the package. No return will be accepted without the proper paperwork and the works need to be returned in perfect condition in their original packaging to qualify for returns.
